kesh Posted April 3, 2018 Report post Posted April 3, 2018 Hi all, I have an issue where I have duplicate clients on SCCM when I add new machines to the domain. One clients looks 100%, and but the other is as per the screenshot. Have you guys experienced this? Please can you advise how to resolve it? thank you. Ariendg Posted April 3, 2018 Report post Posted April 3, 2018 Can you check/show if your system is obsolete and compare ConfigMgr GUID and Previous UUID? Was the newer one approved?
kesh Posted April 3, 2018 Report post Posted April 3, 2018 The ConfigMgr GUID and Previous UUID are blank on the inactive object. This was also a new setup
SMoRZ3 Posted April 3, 2018 Report post Posted April 3, 2018 I have a similar issue I'm still trying to resolve. I think it has to do with it trying to add the PC to a different OU than where it currently is. Join domain doesn't move or delete the current AD object, I think it just makes another instance of it which is causing the same issue in SCCM for me. That is my thought anyways, I haven't really dug into the issue far enough to prove that theory out yet.
