defraine Posted September 20, 2018 Report post Posted September 20, 2018 Hi, First post :-) We have SCCM 2012 installed, we inherited it. All the certificates expired recently and I think I have renewed most but I can't build a VM anymore. It "Failed to Run Task Sequence" (0x80004005) The logs look like certificate problem somewhere? Log shows: "In SSL, but with no client cert." (I've check the bios time, its not that). When I look at the Certificates section the Boot Media ones are still as expired. How do I refresh those please? I have Updated Distribution Points Any help much appreciated. Cheers, Sean
Config Mangler Posted September 21, 2018 Report post Posted September 21, 2018 Assuming you are booting the VM from an ISO, just recreate the ISO and it will have a new certificate. Task sequences | Create Boot Media | Bootable Media | Site Based | CD/DVD Set - default is a year but you can make it longer
