SCCM : How to exclude a machine from software updates and distribution

Hi,

 

we have a requirement to exclude a particular machine from all the software distributions and updates. Need only the inventory of the machine. How to manage the client through SCCM.

just make sure it's not added to any collection where software updates or software distribution are targetted.
