Windows Updates for Notebook

Hi,

 

we have a lot of Notebooks that are installed with SCCM, now we have a little Probleme, the Machine still a long time not in our Firm so they make no Updates. In the Client Config is the CONFIGURATED BY ADMIN.

 

Okay, now we would like to activated this when the Machine is not in our Network. Really not the best thing but this are Machines that are a few Month not in.

 

Has anyone an Idea?!?

It all has to do with Company Policies... There are a lot of different options, like a GPO for those laptops that enables Automatic Updates again, or Internet-Based Client Management (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb693755.aspx), etc..

do the laptops connect back to the company via vpn? if not i'd go with peter to enable autoupdates or enable internet based clients.
