wojtek Posted February 12, 2010 Report post Posted February 12, 2010 Hello I have strange problem i try to install Windows XP using boot media on new computer ( Dell) This computer has two partiton on disk: partition 1 FAT ( with some rescue or diagnostic files) this partition is hidden and partition 2 NTFS with windows XP When i try to install OS I recived information from TS Wizzard: Fail to Run Task Sequnecy with error 0x80070032 - the same error a got when I try to install OS on decrypting disk. So my question is: is it possible that using boot media some files are copy to local disk to partition 1 before starting TS? if it is true Best Regards
0 anyweb Posted February 12, 2010 Report post Posted February 12, 2010 if you post your smsts.log file we can take a look, my guess is you should wipe the hdd first in the ts including all paritions, unless of course you want to keep it ? Hello
I have strange problem i try to install Windows XP using boot media on new computer ( Dell) This computer has two partiton on disk:
partition 1 FAT ( with some rescue or diagnostic files) this partition is hidden
and
partition 2 NTFS with windows XP
When i try to install OS I recived information from TS Wizzard: Fail to Run Task Sequnecy with error 0x80070032 - the same error a got when I try
to install OS on decrypting disk.
So my question is: is it possible that using boot media some files are copy to local disk to partition 1 before starting TS?
