Windows 7 Domain Join Problem

Question

Hello Everyone

I am about to deploy Windows 7 Enterprise via SCCM 2007 R2. Everything works just fine. Except of the Domain Join in 64Bit Version.

It is absolutely running in 32Bit Version, but not in 64Bit.

Im putting the PC into the Domain via Networking Settings in the Task Sequenze.

The Problem is the Following:

The Task Sequenz runns fine, without ANY Error. And the Computer says to be joined to the Domain. But when I try to logon the following Error appears:

"The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this WK trust relationship."

And there is no Computer Account in the Active Directory.

Can anyone please help me? I can absolut provide you any logs if needed.

Thank you very much.

Kind Regards

Tom

Hey!

No, the Computer isn't in the Domain before trying to join it. It's a brand new Computer and it happens on different Machines. But only with the 64Bit Version. The Same Computer works with 32Bit.

In the Log there is:

OfflineJoin SUCCESSFULL!

Is there maybe a problem with the OfflineJoin?!

as before can one of you post your netsetup.log file here ?

is the domain join user correctly specified ?

I found a solution that worked:

http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-CA/configmgrosd/thread/59bcc6bb-5401-4faa-bc72-79c4c7b2d908

I made the TS from the MDT 2010 generator, and this ads the .XML. It's never gone wrong before.. Anywho.. The Win7-64bit came up as it should and the relationship with the domain working.
