Blocking Update KB976002...

Does anyone know if it's possible to block the installation of this update from the WindowsUpdate website via GP? Similar to the IE7 blocker they put in place. I'm massively against the idea of our corp users updating their machines only to find a page asking them to install some random browser.

if you are using SCCM SUP to install the updates then just don't include it in any Deployment Management task,
