0 anyweb Posted March 11, 2010 Report post Posted March 11, 2010 here's your problem The detected setup program architecture does not match the current boot image. You must correct your task sequence so that the installation package matches the boot image. verify what boot image is attached to your task sequence cheers niall

Hello ppl,
Thanks to this forum/website i have succesfully setup a SCCM lab environment.
I did had some trouble along the way but i was able to find solutions on the web, the process itself learned me alot.
Servers:
SCCM server
- SCCM 2007 SP1 on Windows 2008 / SQL server 2008 on Hyper-V
- SCCM PXE Service Point / Windows 2008 R2 on Hyper-V
Working:
- Pushing of client software
- Deployment of software
- PXE booting machine with imported computer setting
Problem: XP SP3 build and capture task sequence not working, it fails when applying Windows Settings
- I have followed task sequence guide on this website
- no error in site status --> componment status
- i have opened an WinPe shell on the client.
-- I can succesfully connect to the SCCM server
- I have added permissions on the SCCM server server share for everyone and domain computers to rule out permission problems
- i have done the following
-- Confirmed i am using the correct key by using the media to manual install
-- Try to make an succesfull xp build and capture with XP Sp2 media
-- used to leave local admin pass blank / or randomize
SMSTS.log attached to this message.
