Joe13 Posted August 23, 2019 Report post Posted August 23, 2019 Hi, What would be the reason why the WINPE.wim file download will be slow, it will max out on 30Mbps but the install.wim will download at 1Gbps - the network drivers are imported. anyweb Posted September 6, 2019 Report post Posted September 6, 2019 it's slow to download the boot image because it's using old technology to download the winpe.wim file, aka tftp (trivial ftp), you might be able to tweak registry settings on the server hosting WDS to get it to go faster, but it might also break pxe boot capability.
