Software Installation Problem

Question

Hello Guys!

I've got a problem.

I created a Software Package (Office 2007) and a Program. Both are shown in Packages.

If i try to add the package in my Task Sequence i see the Package but not the Program, so i cant save the TS.

I hope you can help me. Thanks!

Hi,

I had this problem when I had set "Allow users to interact with this program" on the Install procedure. You should find that setting on the "Environment" tab.

and make sure that 'allow this program to be run whether or not it is advertised' is selected, the task sequence will need that step removed, then yuo can save the ts, then edit the ts again to re-add the corrected package, unfortunately it doesn't refresh on the fly

Another problem.... :)

I Configured the Office Package like in MS TechNet (http://technet.microsoft.com/de-de/library/dd630737.aspx)

In the TaskSequence you can see that he Install the Package.

After the TS, there is no Microsoft Office installed.

Any ideas? Thanks! :)
