I have been requested to report metrics to upper management of the number of MS patches that were successfully installed in our domain during the previous calendar month.
Basically, I need a report that will output something like this:
ALPHA_SERVER Microsoft Windows NT Server 5.2 27
BRAVO_SERVER Microsoft Windows NT Server 6.2 14
DESKTOP_ONE Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 6.1 11
DESKTOP_TWO Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 5.2 36
All the sample queries I've been able to locate are for identifying that a particular patch has been applied, and that won't help us. Specifically, I need to be able to query against all systems because in our environment, systems are constantly being added and removed, so we never have a known set of systems that we can identify by NETBIOS name.
