usmt 4 task sequence doesn't do anything

Hi All,

 

I have a query with the user migration(USMT 4.0) to be used and integrated with SCCM 2007 R2.

 

Created a computer association w.r.t client and destination computers accoirdingly.

 

We have created a USMT 4.0 package in the packages section and created a task sequence's for User state capture and User state restore.After that we have advertised the task sequence to the client computer.

 

then the advertisement has appeared in the client machine and no action has took place.

 

Please let us know if we followed the right steps and also let us know if we can get any detailed info in a link or document to do this activity.

do you mean that the task sequence is appearing in the Run Advertised programs ? and nothing happens when you click on it or what ?
