No Updates installing

Hello to all,

in our SCCM Environment (one Central, one Primary and on second site) there are the Software Update Point installed on the central and primary client. We are planing to installing the Microsoft updates during the client installation as the last step in our task sequence. But the installation ends with the same problem:

we have a problem in productive environment with SW Updates. We need your help as we tried everything possible but it does not work L First it behaved so that updated were downloading till 5th update, then it started to install and finish with 4th update, then restart and that is it. We checked updates installation source for folders with “.1” name and deleted them, we also re-download updates. Then we compared settings with MO LAB where it works and set them same way. No it does not show download progress, only installs 3 updates from 31, then it checks for updates and then final restart

 

Has anyone an idea to solve this problem.

Attached to first entry, there are only the windows xp patches are NOT installed, but the patches for eg. Office 2003 will be installed.

Any comments are welcome.

so this is software updates for windows xp or what ? have you tried having more than one Install Software Updates task in the ts with a reboot inbetween ?
