Juls Posted May 11, 2010 Report post Posted May 11, 2010 Setup has encountered fatal errors while performing file opertaions. No matter what I do the setup will not get past the "transfer files" step during installation. I do not know where to look for more details or how to correct. anyweb Posted May 11, 2010 Report post Posted May 11, 2010 i had the same problem last week, i resolved it by logging out, removing the users profile i had logged in as, logging back in as that user and trying again, it worked fine, to verify this you could try the same or use another local administrator account on that server, if that also fails have you tried different media ?
