anyweb Posted April 13, 2020 Report post Posted April 13, 2020 and what application are you trying to run exactly ? and what version of windows 10 is it ?
roflcopter4 Posted April 15, 2020 Report post Posted April 15, 2020 Seconded. This issue occurs when trying to run `explorer.exe` from anywhere. There is apparently a version of it in the System32 directory in addition to a copy in C:\Windows. System32 appears first in $PATH and the copy found there appears broken. If you run the version under C:\Windows there is no issue. Very curious.
blacklotuss Posted April 29, 2020 Report post Posted April 29, 2020 Same issue here. Any solutions to it yet?
asifemon Posted June 14, 2020 Report post Posted June 14, 2020 Yes here's the solution... so you have two versions of explorer.exe right ? 1. Windows folder and another 2.System 32 folder double click both of them and see which one works fine, then delete or move somewhere safe which was showing you error incase you need it in future, The replace that with the working one copy---- paste Done now go RUN > type Explorer.exe Volla XD its done. Thank You
