New SCCM Server & Deploying Office 2007

Question

Hi everyone!

So followed the directions from this website on how to setup a SCCM server and how to deploy office 2007. I am in the setup stage right now and I have about another 2 months before I have to deploy Office 2007 to my company of 400 internal and external employees.

Here is my test lab.

1. SCCM SP2 running on Server 2008

2. SQL 2005 Lab

3. Two Dell 620 laptops as test computers. (the remote client tools installed correctly)

Laptop 1.

DataTransferService.log (if you guys want the whole log please let me know)

how are you trying to deploy Office 2007 ? are you not seeing the advertisement on the clients or what ?

Correct I am not seeing any advertisement on the client side. On the SCCM server when I click Software distrubtion it says "not started" (This is the first time I have seen this)

I followed this guide How can I deploy Office 2007 with SCCM

Thanks for your quick response!
