I've seen several topics that come close to what I need, but nothing that addresses my specific requirements. I'm very new to SCCM 2007 R2 (or any version for that matter!)so please forgive me if these tasks are obvious.
I have 225 new computers that I need to roll out. I have OSD working with a base image and it successfully deploys to a computer on a one-off basis. What I would like to do is:
1. Deploy to all these computers: Should I use the "unknown computers" functionality of R2? We don't have a list of MAC addresses so I can't easily import the machines using Computer Associations.
2. I would like to deploy the machines to a domain with incrementing computer names (computerA would be named XXXX-01, computerB named XXXX-02, etc). What's the best/easiest way to do this?
