Packaging noob looking for knowledge.

Hello,

 

 

Does anyone know of any online resources for packaging beginners? My main goal is to get software installed on client machines with no user interaction. So far I am failing. I can create a package within SCCM and have it install as long as I allow user interaction.

 

I am also trying to learn how to use AdminStudo Configuration Manager Edition to create .msi files in hopes that this will help.

Hi,

I have been using this product call Emco MSI Packager builder for 2yrs, easy to use and very cost effect.

http://www.emco.is/products/msi-package-builder/features.php, oh yes i also using vmware worksatation for msi packaging and testing the software packaging, before adding to SCCM 2007 deployment.
