mhend08 Posted August 13, 2010 Report post Posted August 13, 2010 We are not the domain adminstrator's at our site, but we have an OU for our group. The domain administrator wants to put the System Management container under our OU and not at the root. We've researched it and we can see "How", but we can't figure out the "Why" it needs to have full rights and why it needs to be at the root. Does anyone know if it will work at a sub-container or if it will only work at the root and the purpose of it? Peter van der Woude Posted August 13, 2010 Report post Posted August 13, 2010 It has to be in the System container of the AD and it needs full rights at System Management container to be able to write its information in it. mhend08 Posted August 21, 2010 Report post Posted August 21, 2010 Thanks Peter, but do you know what information will be posted inside of that container? It has to be in the System container of the AD and it needs full rights at System Management container to be able to write its information in it.
