How to take automatic Data backup Before Update xp SP3 from SCCM

Do you have any option to take user all data backup before we update Xp sp3 from SCCM with single step.

 

I am planning to update Xp sp3 in my environment: my concerned Before we push update xp sp3 from sccm is their any option to take user data backup before patch apply ?

you could script a full backup (to wim file), not hard to do but requires a lot of storage for the wim file and/or network speed. You should be able to deploy sp3 without having to do this though so why do you think it will fail ?

Any how we are creating new image Xp sp3 but it will take time to update new image in my environment

 

We are planning just sp3 ...but we are thinking about after update if the System crashes then what was the solution

 

I am thinking to take backup before update this patch ...is their any command line to execute for backup and run update

well you could pull the capture task out of a build and capture task sequence, that is essentially taking a wim backup of a system
