bvanbeekadm Posted August 17, 2010 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 All, I have been asked to investigate if the following is possible. Our management would like to deploy Win 7 and Win Xp with Sccm but in the following way. When a new computer arrives from our supplier, that a support person can simply put it in the network, boot from network and that then Sccm starts. (Already implemented this with the unknown computers manual) Then they need to have a selection from for wich OS they want. (Already have this first selection screen) Then management would like to see a next selection screen for either software packages or task sequences with software Is this last step possible, and if so, how do I implement this? Tx in advance.
0 Eswar Koneti Posted August 30, 2010 Report post Posted August 30, 2010 Konetie, A question, when you say no program is needed, you mean that I just create the package and fill in nothing under Programs, correct? I guess Yes as Per the fogzone(mentioned above with all the steps) since i have not tested this. From fogzone OSDAppChooser works perfectly in my environment. What u need to do: 1: Create a package with the .exe and the .xml files. You do not have to create a program.
