Client Software report

Dear all,

 

I am new to SCCM 2007 R3 and need to do some integration.

 

I have access to the views in the underlying database and need to know which views to mapp to in order to extract the data on all the software applications installed on client PCs and servers.

 

I managed to downlaod all the data related to PCs and server but need to the software part.

 

I am loooking at v_GS_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS view, but it has hardly any data in it, I mean apart from some 4 usefull columns, namely Display name, version, product name and some IDs. Is there any other view(s) I can join this with to get any other avaialable information on SCCM on all the software application installed on all the PCs and servers.

 

Another question I have is, which Serial number column should I used (more reliable) between table view vGS_SYSTEM_ENCLOSURE and v_GS_PC_BIOS as I am finding entries with repeated (duplicate) serial number.

 

I pressed with time so any prompt feed back will be very much appreciated.

Did you see this Creating Custom Reports By Using Configuration Manager 2007 SQL Views http://www.microsoft...&displaylang=en. It should give you all the views with the column names to pick from.
