Old pc types and Win7?

Question

We will migrate to Win7 soon and therefor we create a plan with the computer types that can migrate to Win7.

It will be Lenovo laptop: T61, T500, X301, T410, T510 | Desktops: M57, M58, M70e and M90

For old machines it's hard to find any drivers for Win7 to boot in winpe as there is stated 'Included with Operating System' as here: http://download.lenovo.com/lenovo/content/ddfm/MIGR-70443.html#networking

Other example is that I can't download drivers for Win7 like here for an ethernet driver for the T61 http://download.lenovo.com/lenovo/content/ddfm/MIGR-67853.html#networking

Are all these 'old' drivers already included in Winpe 3.0? I think it's a bare OS but I'm not sure. As for Win7 I know those drivers are already known and in the OS.

i have an old latitude C610 which certaintly failed to boot via winpe3, however i manually installed win7 on it and once installed noted that it had loaded a nic driver for the old hardware, i copied that driver and imported it into win PE and lo-and-behold could image that system

just a thought :)

I cannot install the Lenovo T510. No ip is given. But if I manually install the driver, it works. I synced it on the driver package and boot image.

It's the Intel 82577LM, 10/12/2009, 11.5.10.0, VEN_8086&DEV_10EA&SUBSYS_215317AA&REV_06

EDIT: Ok, apparently it's 11.5.10.1030 that must resolve this problem or by adding some info on the .inf.

http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/T400-T500-and-newer-T-series/T410-and-W510-Intel-82577LM-driver-is-not-compatible-with/td-p/209776

EDIT2: Nothing changed. In winPE the machine is installing but once after and in the OS there is no network card.

When I do an ipconfig I get;

Ethernet adapter Bluetooth Network Connection:

Media State . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : Media Disconnected

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . . :

but nothing for an 'Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection'. Can someone please help here?
