Geting OS language and its type

Please, sorry for my English. It isn't as well, as possible:)

How can I get the language of installed OS? In our organization we are using both Windows 7 and Windows XP. Win7 is only English, but WinXP is not only English, but Russian also. It is nesessary to get information of OS's language. And, of course, I'd like to get type of installed OS. For example, Win7 has such types as Enterprise, Professional and so on. So, how can I get them?

You can also check manually in the command prompt if you want as below
