Help - PXE Boot IP Helpers

Hi there,

 

We have a specific VLAN that just doesn't appear to respond back to the client to do a PXE boot (IP Helper only).

We can see the traffic hitting the ConfigMgr server and here are the logs below.

Interesting to note is that the Client IP = 000.000.000.000 - I'd assume this field would required to be

populated for ConfigMgr to respond.

Any ideas on where to from here to help diagnose the issue?

 

We know ConfigMgr PXE works, as another VLAN with DHCP scopes referral works fine.

is there cisco switches involved ? if so is portfast set to enabled or disabled ?

Thanks for replying to my technet post as well much appreciated.

I'll be speaking to our network team to verify what the setting is.

Is the portfast setting switch dependant or port related configuration?

If so should it be enabled just for the ConfigMgr server?

just have your ip helpers on your switches point to your main DHCP server. Add options 66 and point to SCCM IP address and 67 pointing to your SMSboot folder.
