I am making a windows 7 image for a lab of computers and do not want to manually join each one to the domain. I would like either a VB script to do it on first boot, or edit my unattend.xml file. I am deploying via WDS. This seems like a common request with far too many complicated ways to do it. How do you guys do it?
If it helps answer this any, I have the unattend.xml set up so during the initial sysprep set up the user is prompted for a computer name. I do not want a random name assigned to a lab of 30+ computers. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
