Banging my head against a SCCM brick wall !

Question

Hello,

My 1st post here and I hope you can help.

I have just setup SCCM 2007 SP2 and I am trying to perform a simple install and capture task. The PC starts booting WinPe and loads the SCCM splash screen (F8 is enabled, I get a IP and DNS is good). After about 2 mins my PC re-boots.

Looking at the smsts log I keep getting the following error:

<![LOG[Attempting to connect to \\DC1.MICROSOFT.LOCAL\SMSPKGE$\MS100003\]LOG]!><time="21:41:25.941+-60" date="10-29-2010" component="TSPxe" context="" type="1" thread="1452" file="resolvesource.cpp:2151">

If I do a net use I can connect to that share, so I know my permissions are ok. Help !!!

Thanks

is it restaring before you select the TS or after ? there should be other information from the log since the info which you posted seems to no issue.

Thanks for the reply.

Its restarting before I selelct any task. The end of the log looks like this :

check to ensure the packages which are used in Task sequence are distributed to DP,from the log, there are some packages which are not resolved by it.

You might created n number of packages but forgoten to distributed to DP's. there is script which posted by Michael to check if all the Task sequence dependencies are avilable in DP or not.
