SCCM OSD Windows 7 not joining Domain

I am just trying to join the Domian in a task sequence in the Apply Windows Settings and it never works. I got it to work for XP. Do I need to just do it in an unattend.xml or do I not need that?

No join information needs to be in the .XML file. Are you sure you supplied a user name and password for an account that has rights to create a computer account object in the OU listed in the task sequence?

I have the same issue where the machine is unable to join Domain but doesn't give any errors . Operating systems comes up and machine is in workgroup. Checked in the smsts.log and i can't seem to find any error. I have warings that drivers were not found but when i login to the machine and check i can see that all required drivers are installed. I do not have a .xml file created. Is it mandatory to create a .xml file.

 

I have checked the Task sequence report and i can see that there are no errors. I also see that client is not getting installed on the machine.Attached is the smsts.log.

 

Please help on this.. I am struck on this issue.
