New PC's not added to domain during OSD deployment

Hi all,

 

I have an OSD Deployment task that installs XP on our PC's. When I use an existing PC (already part of our domain) everything goes perfectly well.

When I use a new PC (bare metal) the OSD deployment goes well, but the PC is not added to our domain. When I add the PC to the domain manually and move it back to a workgroup and execute the deployment again, the PC is added to the domain automatically.

 

Has anyone experienced this before?

Does the service account that you've got entered into the OSD task sequence have rights to create/manipulate computer account objects in that OU?
