Error setting up WDS - PXE test request failed - Error code 16389

Question

While we are in the progress of setting up an OSD structure on all our servers, this particular server has us quite flustered.

Whevener we install the WDS role on this Secondary server (running server 2008 SP1) the following can be seen in the pxecontrol.log file. We have already been scouring the forums online and tried uninstalling, removing all folders and reinstalling, but we keep getting this error.

We also verified each time that the Sccm boot images are present in the smsbootimages folders.

Has anybody an idea on how to fix this particular error?

what server is it trying to send that packet to ? have you tried disabling firewall temporarily to see is it a firewall/port issue ?
