Patch Version

Question

I am new to SCCM patch management. I am deploying patches and they deploy fine on most of my systems. All of my systems run Office 2003 and have "Compatibility Pack for the 2007 Office System" installed. My problem is the client agent on some systems only sees the need for the 2003 version of the patch. The reports show that it does need both the 2003 and 2007 versions. Other systems have both versions. 1 example of this is MS10-87. In the report I see it requiring "MS10-087 2289158 Security Update for Microsoft Office 2007 System (KB2289158) " and MS10-087 2289187 Security Update for Microsoft Office 2003 (KB2289187). I have tried forcing a software updates scan cycle, software updates deployment evaluation cycle, a software inventory cycle, and a machine policy retrieval & evaluation cycle. None of those have triggered the system to see the need for the 2007 version of the patch. I would appreciate any help or insight as to why this is happening and how to fix it.
