I'm using two Hyper-V Failover Clusters with 7 hardware machines. The virtual machines (60) on the hosts are stored in a SAN. Everyone knows that checkpoints/snapshots are using a great amount of diskspace.
Is it possible to store the checkpoints of the virtual machines (SCVMM) on a different device, for example an external harddrive. Is it possible to outsource the checkpoint anyway?
