Install Sccm client on SCCM Server

We have two SCCM Sites.

Site1 is for managing Workstations - Application deplyment, Software updates ect. Clients of this site are just Workstations.

Site2 is for managing Servers - Reporting and Software updates. Clients of this site are just Servers.

 

Is it ok to the SCCM Server, that hold and manage the workstation site (Site1), to be a client of the Servers site (Site2) - tahts mean that i will install SCCM cilent on this SCCM server and set it to the Servers site.

I am not totally sure about this one. I would say that the main point is (overlapping) Boundaries and as long as you don't create overlapping Boundaries you'll be fine.

Boundaries are different - each site have his own Boundaries.
