Hi marracrash,

I have recently set up SCUP in a work environment and used the below links for guidance:

http://blogs.technet.com/b/jasonlewis/archive/2007/11/30/how-to-setup-scup-and-configmgr-2007-to-deploy-custom-updates.aspx

http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/katzchen63/archive/2010/05/28/scup-deploying-sccm-r3-beta-client-hotfix-kb977384.aspx

The 2nd link is more related to deploying microsoft hotfixes via SCUP but I still found this useful for a "step by step" guide on setting up an update.

Good luck :)

Thank you all for the replyes.

I'm taking a look at those links.

Cause I've a problem whit clients, the update arrives, but can't install...

I've seen something with cert problem.

But is strange cause I've added the self-signed certificate into the client and into the SCCM SRV, the WSUS SRV and applyed the policy in the DC.

(I've 3server: 1 SCCM&SCUP 2 WSUS 3 DC ).

And nobody has a step-by-step on how import catalog and make it run fine? (I have the catalog for Acrobat Reader X, imported into SCUP and published into WSUS... but... it doesnt work).

Does the update show in SCCM?

Have u checked the event logs on the client to see where it is falling down?

Also how did you complete the certificate was it as per the above link?

Did you package the certificate and use certutil to deploy?

Almost definately sounds like a certificate issue so it seems you only have to tweak the process :)
