Peter van der Woude Posted August 7, 2011 Report post Posted August 7, 2011 I do not realy get your question... The only thing you have to do is to update the installed SQL Components with CU14.
ramlan Posted August 7, 2011 Report post Posted August 7, 2011 Peter is right. I followed the guide to complete the install. Everything is working fine. I am running SQL 2008 SP1 CU14. This is the only one you have to install from CU 14 SQL Server 2008 All (Global) x64 sp1 SQLServer2008_SP1_CU14_2527187_10_00_2821_x64 2008 10.00.2821.00 264620376 5/9/2011 6:48:46 PM

Hi Peter - the question was, which one of the listed updates is required (the hotfix link provides in the post directed me towards the 5 listed files) - the answer, as provides by Ramlan Cheers, J

jayinoz Posted August 8, 2011 Report post Posted August 8, 2011 Thanks Anyweb, the most comprehensive gudei I've seen, and I'm optimistic this may actually get SCCM installed. I've one further question. The reason I'm installing SCCM 2012 is to use MS ForeFront 2012, and this I believe required WSUS Can I simply follow the guide here http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/485-how-to-install-wsus-3-0-sp1/ and istall WSUS 3SP2 on my SCCM server? Thanks, J
Peter van der Woude Posted August 8, 2011 Report post Posted August 8, 2011 Yes you can just follow that link, as the requirements for WSUS are still the same.
