I have a Task Sequence for a Windows 7 upgrade that starts inside the OS and captures settings/files. It works fine when I advertise it to a Collection or use a DVD, but when I use a USB, everything is silent and I don't see a progress window. I have a HTA prompt that is also hidden when using the USB.
Is there something I have a to configure in order to "unhide" the progress bars/displays for a USB media Task Sequence that starts inside of Windows? As I said, this Task Sequence works fine from a DVD and a regular advertisement - it seems to be a media issue.
I really need my techs to be able to walk up to a user machine with a USB and start the upgrade progress. I hope someone can help.
