So I've copied a Windows 7 disc onto a network share, imported it into a new OS package, used the default "Build and Capture" sequence, all should be good right? ... not quite. When the task runs on either of the 3 machines I've tried it on, it partitions and formats perfectly fine, but when it comes to applying the OS image, it says "Applying operating system" up top like normal, but below it says "Wiping C:\" it shows up for about 3 seconds, and then with out any error at all, it starts installing drivers, yet it never actually applied the OS image. After it finishes "installing" drivers it reboots and obviously there's no operating system to boot up. These machines will apply the already configured Windows 7 images I have built in the past, and they'll even take the Windows 7 retail disc "Install.wim" If I import it just as a regular OS image.
I am using SCCM 2007 R2 running on Server 2008 SP2.
