I've got SCCM 2007 R3 + WSUS + SUP on one server, SQL is on another. I am install Forefront to many remote sites and some of those have a DP. I've followed the following link to try to use the DP's for updating Forefront:
The problem I have is the advertisement keeps failing because it can't find the files associated with the application. I have the directories configured and the script runs fine but if I run the cmd.exe /c "%processorarchitecture%\mpam-d.exe" command on my computer it returns a value of "AMD64", not x64. I would like to use my DP's if possible to reduce bandwidth back to our primary site. Has anyone done this successfully?
