JLM1 Posted May 25, 2011 Report post Posted May 25, 2011 I have inherited an sccm server and I am having some trouble with PXE and SCCM 2007 not playing well together. I am wondering if the fact that WDS was removed and reinstalled may have caused the problem. I have read through some of the guides and I am still struggling. I was told that there should be no boot images in the WDS server role or it will not let sccm handle the PXE. The boot image was removed from WDS and now I get the error FILE: \boot\bcd STATUS: 0xc0000098 The Windos Boot Configuration Data File does not contain a valid os entry. I do need to state that I am a complete rookie with WDS and SCCM. I would greatly appreciate any help or being pointed in the right direction to correct this.
