Failed to download pxe variable

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

i am searching a few days now, but i wont find a solution for my problem.

Here is what i got:

VMWare Workstation 7

Windows Server 2008 R2 - SCCM, DHCP, DNS

Windows Server 2008 - DC, SQL Database

My System loads into WinPE through SCCM PXE, than restarts, in the smsts.log i found:

Failed to download pxe variable file

PxeGetPxeData failed with 0x80004005

I Read through some Forums and Posts and found out that it may be an issue with Network Drivers, so i checked it, i got an IP by DHCP, DNS entry, everything seems fine

I can ping from my Windows7 Maschine to my DC and to the SCCM Server - but i cannot Ping from the SCCM Server to the Win7 Maschine, so maybe there are my issue, but i dunno what, Firewall shouldnt be the Problem or what do you guess?

Thanks in advance

Alex
