How to Deploy to raw PCs

Hi,

 

I'd like to thank you very much for this useful instruction.

My question is that in this scenario we should define MAC address and computer name before installation or deploy to special system "Collection".

But in my scenario I want to deploy windows 7 on several new PCs and I don't want to effect any other systems on the network.Could anybody instruct me how can I do it in minimum network risk & administration effort plesae?

hi, I came here with the same question a few weeks ago ^^

 

advertise the task sequence on the "All unknown Computers" collection.

 

computers will be named minint-xxxxx after that, if you're in testing process you may want to create a minint-xxxx collection with a request on computer named minint-%% and advertise your deployement on this collection as well
