Ok, first let me say that I am just getting into SCCM and this forum has been a big help, so Thank you! You will probably see a lot of posts from me.
I want to simply grab an image of a Windows 7 or XP, or whatever computer. I want everything the same, domain info, drivers, etc. The machine is built with all the apps, patches, and drivers in place. I have read some of the other topics that seem to be what I want, but they seem so complicated for just an image. How can I simply make a copy of the hard disk? I'm coming from Altiris Deployment Solution 6.9 when I simply drag and drop an imaging event and it takes the image, then I can deploy that image right back in the event of a hard disk failure.
I apologize if this has already been answered. I did a search and ready through some of the other forums and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Or it was and I didn't realize it. lol
