Sooo, I'm am trying to create a config.xml file so I can exclude certain items from being migrated. When I run the command that MS says to do this (scanstate /i:migapp.xml /i:miguser.xml /genconfig:config.xml /v:13) it consistently returns a failed code of 29. When I look in the scanstate.log file it says there is a syntax error in the XML file. This happens to both the MigApp and the MigUser, it just depends on which one I put first. If I run the command with just thescanstate /genconfig:config.xml /v:13 it runs fine but doesn't really help me. I just downloaded the most recent MigApp.xml file for support for Office 2010 and doubt that MS would publish a file like this with a syntax error. I've been searching the web for this issue elsewhere with no luck. If anyone has any ideas or have come across this before, PLEASE HELP! Thank you in advance.
