Office 2007

Question

Hi

I followed the pinned office deployment post and advertised the package. For some reason all of the material will download without a problem (It's saved in the Windows\syswow64\ccm\cache) but for some reason will not install. The advertisement status in SCCM is 1 recieved and 1 Started with 0's in the remaining sections.

What's the Command Line in the SCCM Package's Program that you are deploying? If it's just "setup.exe" you need to add some switches to have it install silently...

If you create an mst file with the office customization tool (setup /admin) you can run the installation silently with just the setup.exe command. All you have to do is to put the mst in the update folder. Of course you have to modify the interaction tab in the office customization and set it to basic or none.
