Image capturing no longer works

Question

I currently have SCCM installed, and have successfully captured images in the past. For some reason this has just completely stopped working..

I have created USB media to capture the OS - run the capture wizard, the wizard then closes, you can see tsmbbootstrapper and sysprep.exe running in task manager for a couple of mins and thats as far as it gets.. i cant find any logs or any errors anywhere to suggest why its stopping.

I've tried on several different workstations with different media with the same results.

I'm completely at a loss with this and any suggestions would be brill!

You'll want to check out your smsts.log file for details on why it's failing. Is the entire process hanging, or is it giving you an error?

Check sysprep.exe logs as well:

Hope this helps.

Nope, it doesn't hang or error... sysprep.exe runs in task manager for a couple of minutes, then disappears. The workstation then just sits idle.

I'll check those logs and see how that goes... thanks for the advice!
