napandee Posted July 28, 2011 Report post Posted July 28, 2011 Hello! I've got a problem with my SCCM 2012 Beta 2 lab server... I've Setup the software portal and created some packages. All is well until I try and use the function to approve an applications request in the CM Server When I click the OK to approve the request I get a SQL error · ConfigMgr Error Object: instance of SMS_ExtendedStatus { CauseInfo = ""; Description = "CSspUserAppRequestClass: SQL_ERROR"; ErrorCode = 3242722562; File = "e:\\nts_sccm_retail\\sms\\siteserver\\sdk_provider\\smsprov\\sspuserapplicationrequest.cpp"; Line = 399; Operation = "ExecMethod"; StatusCode = 2147749889; As you can see the error is similar to the more then 500 updates error in 2007 I've checked all SQL permission (no expert but I've done what I can) and the computer account is in the administrators group on the SQL server (same server for both SCCM and SQL) I've run out of ideas to try. I've found the problem, I also installed FEP 2012 Beta and that bricked the SQL tempDB. When I removed the FEP installation from my CM and that fixed it. I'm going to try and increase the default size of the TempDB and allow growth with a higher speed to try and solve the underlining problem...
