Software Catalog - 404 error

I'm trying to create the Software Catalog website, but it's not working. I followed the Windows-noob guide to the letter, but when I go to ../cmsoftwarecatalog/default.aspx I get HTTP 404 Not Found.

 

Any assistance would be appreciated.

if you go into IIS do you see the websites created ? in Configmgr, check your component status, any problems reported ?

I am now able to view the website, but only if I go to the fqdn address: http://sccmtest.mydomain.org/cmsoftwarecatalog/

However the link provided in the Software Center takes me to http://sccmtest/cmsoftwarecatalog/Default.aspx, which gives me the 404 error.

I'm not sure where I went wrong. Maybe I should start over. I included a few errors I am receiving if it might help with diagnosis:

Solution: Verify that the account that the MP ISAPI is configured to run under has not been denied batch logon rights through group policy. Solution: The Enrollment AD Service Control is waiting for the information to become available and will retry obtaining the registry information at its next interval.
