I am new to WDS I have setup the server 2003 sp1 and managed to get the Boot.wim file from Windows 7 CD and to cut a long story short I can boot from network and capture my XP image after sysprep.
However when i deploy the image I have to go through the mini setup and enter CD key etc all of which were in my sysprep.inf file. Why ???
I have created on my WDS server the following folder structure.
In c:\RemoteInstall\Image\E6320 XP I have captured my XP image to a file called E6320xpsp3.wim
When I deploy that image it works fine but when mini setup kicks in it doesnt use either the local sysprep.inf on c:\sysprep nor the one on the server in the c:\RemoteInstall\Image\E6320 XP\E6320xpsp3\$OEM$\$1\sysprep\sysprep.inf and I have to do it all manually..
