SCCM 2007 client push issues

Question

I am currently trying to push out the sccm slient to my winxp workstations. I have one domain and sccm sees them in the collections. when I look at the collection in the client column it shows YES, it also shows approved, and in assigned it says Yes and No for blocked. When I try right click and install a client it fails everytime.

in Site settings>client Push installation properties I have checked the "Enable client push installation to assigned resources" and the box "Enable client push to site systems".

In the accounts tab I added an account with Domain Admin rights (domain\account) and checked the password. (I've triple checked to make sure the account has domain admin rights)

From a client I can manually connect to teh SCCM server \\servername\sccm_sitename and can manually install the sccm client with no errors

When I try to install it using the sccm client push it fails with the following output from the CCM.log file.

---> WNetAddConnection2 failed (LOGON32_LOGON_NEW_CREDENTIALS) using account burlington\sccadmin (00000035) $$<SMS_CLIENT_CONFIG_MANAGER><Thu Aug 04 08:16:35.351 2011 Eastern Daylight Time><thread=2984 (0xBA8)>

Are your A records in DNS correctly resolving to your clients? I'd suggest spot-checking a few. Also, did you define a client push installation account that has administrative remote access to your client systems?

By the way, you said that the "Client" column says "YES" -- this would mean the client is already installed, and does not need to be pushed. I'm a little confused why you're trying to push to existing clients.

Hope this helps.
