0 Peter van der Woude Posted August 22, 2011 Report post Posted August 22, 2011 I would think that, that doesn't work in this scenario's as it's meant to move a user van one domain to another domain... 0 jace Posted August 23, 2011 Report post Posted August 23, 2011 The doc states that the /md switch should be used when migrating a local user to a domain account which is what I am trying to accomplish. Example being /md:localcomputername:newdomain
0 Peter van der Woude Posted August 23, 2011 Report post Posted August 23, 2011 You're right, I didn't see that part... So what is the commandline you're using?
0 jace Posted August 23, 2011 Report post Posted August 23, 2011 By default I am using and saving the log files else where but I have upped the logging to 13 for debugging and the logfiles really don't show anything being wrong. loadstate "osdstatestore" /hardlink /nocompress /lac /i:miguser.xml /v:5 /md:%computername%:domainname /c The restoring of the user store is not the problem, the problem is the /md (move domain) switch is not doing what it is suppose to do. It is suppose to compare the local user account to AD and if it finds a matching account change the profile so when the user logs in with their domain account it does not create a whole new profile. Any ideas..........
